Before buying SHE, what specific situation was identified, how was it identified and what problems or pain did it cause either you or the company?
We had no way to monitor and record health and safety related data across the site as our systems were paper based and labour intensive. We needed a flexible, scalable software solution that would allow us to manage risk assessments, monitor workplace incidents and record environmental data.

Why did you pick a solution from SHE Software?
After evaluating several health and safety management systems, we decided to implement the SHE Software system. This was because it fitted well with our existing health & safety policies and procedures and was flexible enough to be adapted for our specific requirements. Also, the system came with a set of generic templates that were easily edited to fit our needs. The support from the team at SHE was amazing, exemplified by them transferring some of our existing data into SHE to help get the system up and running quicker.

How has the problem identified been solved and can this be substantiated?
Since implementing SHE there has been an overall improvement in our health and safety management & reporting. Tasks are quick & easy to schedule, and employees receive an automatic email notification about specific tasks that have been assigned to them.  
In addition, the software sends out reminders if tasks become overdue, this makes sure nothing is missed and with a complete record of all actions in the system this provides evidence of compliance.
It is much easier to generate monthly reports and the time taken to produce the information has been significantly reduced.
